Charlee
Lives in California
I have owned several dogs over the years and had been contemplating adopting another puppy when I happened upon a post from Poodles of New England. I immediately fell in love. I reached out to Melissa and was overjoyed when she picked me to adopt one of the puppies.
I have known Melissa and her family for many years. Not only are we family friends, but I had the pleasure of adopting a dog from her mom, who is also a breeder, several years ago. I was impressed with the way they cared for their dogs and I knew Melissa would continue this caring nature with her dogs.
Charlee came to live with me and my Bichon Alley-Bama in California on the 23rd of March. She is a smart, healthy, beautiful girl. She is a fluffy ball of energy who has won the heart of my entire family.
She adjusted so quickly to her new surroundings and learned where to potty with no problem. She came to me sleeping through the night and has never had an accident in her crate. She is walking well on a leash and is learning basic commands. I credit this to good breeding and the great early training and nurturing given by Melissa. It is obvious that she has a love for her dogs and goes the extra mile to ensure that her dogs are given the best possible start in life.
I would recommend Poodles of New England, without hesitation, to anyone looking to bring a Standard Poodle into their family.

Winnie
Lives in New York
We are so happy with the puppy we bought from Poodles of New England! Both Melissa and her husband are extremely down to earth people. Our puppy, Winnie, got a clean bill of health from our vet when she got her last shots. Winnie has been an absolute joy!
Our previous dog was a siberian husky that passed away. We decided to get a poodle this time because my son and mother-in law have dog allergies. Since we've had Winnie, both of them haven't had any allergic reactions.
Winnie is active and sweet. She loves to steal socks from the laundry. She went on her first hike yesterday and loved it. She is part of our family now and I could never picture a life without her.

The reason I was interested in finding a responsible breeder was because our family felt as if something were missing. I wanted a breeder who had good quality litters. I chose Poodles of New England because I was lucky enough to encounter Melissa and her Facebook page. She was a thoughtful communicator from the very beginning, and I could tell she genuinely cared for her dogs as a part of her family. With this I felt I would receive support and felt comfortable enough to continue on with our business arrangement.
We purchased our poodle, and had our children name the amazing new addition to our family. His name is Aries. As a wife with a husband and 5 children, it was a very great experience. We have learned as a family patience, confidence, and new teachings during this new era.
I can't say enough about our beautiful poodle, he is gorgeous, well tempered, and a cherished family companion. We can't imagine our lives without him!
Thank you, Melissa!

When I was looking for a second poodle to add to our family I had some very clear ideas. I was hoping to find a breeder who just had one litter at a time, where the puppies are raised in a home with a loving family to give them the best start in life. When I found Melissa's Poodles of New England FaceBook page, I knew right away that I would find the perfect puppy. I fell in love with Justice (who we named Gracie) and Melissa sent us videos and photos so that we could watch her grow.
We drove down to Connecticut and picked her up and she has brought us so much joy. Gracie and our older dog, Seiko, have become best friends, and they play together beautifully. House training went really smoothly and we just navigated her first heat. We are planning on having her spayed when she turns one year old.
Our young granddaughters are besotted and come over frequently for "Gracie time". I am sure that Gracie's early puppy experiences contributed to her calm, playful and affectionate nature. We couldn't imagine life without her and are forever grateful for the wonderful start in life that she had with Melissa and her lovely family.
I wholeheartedly recommend Poodles of New England if you are looking for a perfect poodle puppy!
